Pakistan's men's cricket team has been facing immense criticism for their performances in the ongoing ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 in India.
Out of five games, the Men in Green have won two and lost three. Pakistan's prospect of qualifying in the final four solely depends on upcoming games of different teams but if they manage to win four of their remaining games, they could have a high chance of going through.
Amidst this, skipper Babar Azam has been a centre of criticism from fans, former cricketers and analysts but netizens on X (formerly Twitter) have voiced their support for Babar Azam with the hashtag #BehindYouBabarAzam.
The fans are of the view that they back Babar despite the results during the World Cup and they want everyone to support Babar in the tough time.
Meanwhile, Babar Azam has not dominated with the bat as he has in the past. He has two fifties in five games with a highest of 74 against Afghanistan.
The fans opined everyone supported India's Virat Kohli when he was out of form but the people of Pakistan must support Babar too now during this phase.
It must be noted Babar Azam and Co. will now play South Africa at the same venue on October 27.
